Moving On From A Relationship That Failed

Never fight your feelings... Never fight with your 'self'
Do not deny that you are feeling sad, never do that. The first step of grieving process is acceptance, and in order to move on, first of all you need to accept all the pain that the break-up of a relationship has bought you. Accept it. Don't deny it.
Express your feelings: Tell others how you are feeling and why. It might be hard to do so in the beginning, but slowly and gradually, you will realize that expression of emotions is the best way to deal with them.
Don't dwell on negative feelings: Don't live upon the negativities of the relationship. Don't feel sad, instead, start taking out that negativity in other creative pursuits.
Detach yourself. The memories, the wishes, the hopes and the future plans created with a significant other over a period of time can create many feelings of despair about one's future, but isolate yourself from those dreams, instead imagine yourself living your life to the fullest and being your own person.
